Job Duties:

 ·  Harvest fruits by hand.

· Manual labour such as digging, planting, pruning.

· Dig and plant seeds, or transplant seedlings by hand and packaging of agricultural produce such as fruits.

· Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, weighing, storage of agricultural products, and post-harvest treatment of crops.

· Load products into trucks and/or drive trucks to market/storage.

· Prepare planting beds for sowing seeds and harvesting.

· Setup/inspect/repair irrigation system and equipment.

· Maintenance and repair of farm machinery and equipment.

· Keep irrigation ditches clear and well maintained.

· Assist in coordinating and supporting harvesting labourers in their work.

. Identify plants, pests, and weeds to determine the proper selection and application method of pesticides and     fertilizers.

· Cleaning the baskets, cartons, or bins used in the farm and ensuring proper maintenance of the agricultural      farm.

· Assist in supervision of crops including planting, picking, and weeding.

· Communicate with farm supervisors, managers and owners regarding crop progress and issues that may       arise.

· Perform general farm duties as needed.
