Work Location: 6572 Hastings Street Burnaby BC V5B 1S2, Canada 

Wage rate: $38.40/hour for 40 hours/week.

Benefits: 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period. 

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience

Language: English.

Job duties: 

• Assist in planning and overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient food and customer service.
• Supervise, schedule, train, and support staff and monitor their performance.
• Ensure food preparation, service, cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained.
• Monitor inventory and order food, beverages, packaging, and restaurant supplies.
• Assist in controlling operating costs, waste, sales, and labour expenses.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace safety, and company policies.
• Address customer concerns and resolve service-related issues.
• Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor cash handling, POS transactions, and daily closing procedures.
• Support promotional activities and company operational standards.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager with reporting, planning, and operational improvements.
