Cook — 2 positions
Smitty's Family Restaurant — Sussex, NB

Permanent, full-time
32–40 hours per week
$16.40–$18.00/hour, based on experience
Group insurance benefits available after 6 months
Morning, evening, weekends and shift work
Start as soon as possible

Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years of professional cooking experience

Education:
No degree, certificate or diploma required

Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes; work various kitchen stations including grill and fryer; prepare food for service; follow recipes and portion standards; maintain food-safety and sanitation standards; ensure quality and consistency of meals; work efficiently during busy meal periods; assist with kitchen opening, closing and cleaning duties.

Requirements/Assets:
Food Safety Certificate
WHMIS training/certificate
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Available for a combination of morning, evening and weekend shifts
