Responsibilities

• Read drawings and specifications to understand the plumbing system layout and installation requirements.
• Chose the correct type and size of pipes needed for each project.
• Marked locations for pipes, fittings, and fixtures in walls and floors.
• Measured, cut, thread, and bent pipes to fit the required specifications.
• Made openings in walls and floors to install pipes and fittings.
• Installed and connected pipes using different tools and joining methods.
• Tested plumbing systems for leaks using air and water pressure equipment.
• Arranged workers, tools, and equipment to ensure work was completed on time.
• Managed and assisted workers in carrying out plumbing installation and repair tasks.
