 Summary

The Vice President of Marketing is a senior executive responsible for leading the company’s overall marketing strategy, business development initiatives, and corporate growth within the logistics and transportation industry. The position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and extensive experience in logistics operations, supply chain management, freight forwarding, transportation services, or related commercial sectors.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Determine and execute the company’s marketing vision, mission, and long-term strategic direction in alignment with corporate objectives and logistics industry trends.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing, branding, and business development strategies to expand market share and strengthen the company’s position within the logistics and supply chain sector.
  • Lead corporate promotional campaigns, customer acquisition strategies, and strategic partnerships related to freight transportation, warehousing, distribution, import/export, and supply chain services.
  • Allocate and manage financial, human, and material resources to support organizational policies, operational growth, and marketing initiatives.
  • Establish financial, operational, and administrative controls to ensure efficiency, profitability, and compliance with corporate standards.
  • Authorize and oversee the establishment of major departments, regional branches, and senior management positions related to sales, marketing, customer relations, and logistics operations.
  • Select, supervise, and evaluate directors, department managers, and other senior personnel; delegate authority and foster an effective executive management environment.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer demands, and logistics industry developments to identify new business opportunities and revenue growth strategies.
  • Represent the organization, or appoint company representatives, in negotiations, strategic alliances, industry conferences, government relations, and other official business functions.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall corporate performance within domestic and international logistics markets.

Employment Requirements

  • A university degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of senior management or executive-level experience in the logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, warehousing, supply chain, or related industry is required.
  • Extensive experience in strategic marketing, corporate management, business development, and commercial operations within the logistics sector is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale marketing campaigns, organizational resources, and cross-functional executive teams.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of logistics operations, transportation regulations, international trade practices, and supply chain management principles is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience as a middle or senior manager in marketing, business services, transportation, or logistics operations is highly desirable.
