Responsibilities
Tasks
- Assist in the daily operations of the restaurant and dessert outlet to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Supervise and support staff during shifts, including scheduling, task delegation, and training new employees.
- Monitor customer service standards and handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Help manage inventory levels, place supply orders, and ensure proper storage of food ingredients and products.
- Ensure all food preparation, rolled ice cream, waffles, milkshakes, and dessert items are prepared according to company quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards throughout the restaurant in compliance with Alberta health regulations.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales targets, controlling labour costs, and minimizing product waste.
- Assist with cash handling, POS operations, daily sales reporting, and end-of-day closing procedures.
- Monitor employee performance and help maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Coordinate with kitchen and front-counter staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of customer orders.
