Job description

Job Duties:
Supervise and care for children in the employer’s residence
Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Organize activities such as games, crafts, reading, and outdoor play
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Assist with homework and school-related activities
Take children to and from school, appointments, and recreational activities
Put children to rest for naps and bedtime routines
Perform light housekeeping duties related to child care (e.g., cleaning play areas, laundry for children)
Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents
