Truck Driver

Responsibilities
Tasks
- Load and unload goods safely.
- Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport materials and goods efficiently.
- Regularly check vehicle components, including tires, lights, brakes to ensure proper functioning.
- Adjust braking systems as needed to maintain optimal safety and performance.
- Perform minor roadside repairs during emergencies to reduce delays and maintain delivery schedules.
- Complete thorough vehicle inspections before, during, and after trips, recording any issues or required maintenance.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance to keep the vehicle in peak condition.
- Maintain communication with dispatch to receive routing details and provide delivery updates.
- Properly secure cargo to protect against damage and ensure transport safety.
