Responsibilities
Tasks
- Prepare and mix batches of doughs, batters, and blends for granola, oatmeal, cereal bars, and other snack products according to standardized recipes and production formulas.
- Weigh, measure, and combine dry and wet ingredients such as grains, oats, nuts, seeds, syrups, sweeteners, and binding agents to ensure consistent quality and texture.
- Operate industrial baking and processing equipment, including mixers, ovens, roasters, coolers, and cutting or forming machines.
- Monitor baking, roasting, and cooling processes to achieve specified color, flavor, and moisture levels while maintaining high production efficiency and minimal waste.
- Adjust machine settings such as temperature, baking time, and conveyor speed to meet production and quality requirements.
- Ensure products meet established standards for appearance, taste, weight, and texture through regular in-process quality checks.
- Follow food safety guidelines throughout production and sanitation activities.
- Maintain adequate stock of ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies to support continuous production operations.
- Organize and rotate inventory of raw materials and finished goods to ensure freshness and traceability.
- Inspect and clean production equipment, baking trays, and work areas to maintain sanitation and prevent contamination.
- Train and guide production assistants or bakery helpers in safe handling of food, equipment operation, and quality control procedures.
- Supervise and coordinate baking and processing personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of production targets.
- Record batch data, production output, and equipment performance for traceability and process improvement.
- Participate in planning and scheduling daily or weekly production runs based on demand forecasts and orders.
